I am originaly
from Lima, Ohio and after graduating highschool in 1997
with honors, I spent 2 years at The Ohio State University
working on pre-requisites for chiropractic college.
I was accepted into Palmer College of Chiropractic
in Davenport, Iowa the summer of 1999. While working
on my Doctorate in Chiropractic, I also finished my
Bachelor degree in Human Biology. ( I finished
a 9 year program in 6 years) In 2002, I was selected
to participate in a government funded clinic abroad
trip to Fiji where a group of 12 students spent 3 weeks
educating and treating the citizens of Fiji. I graduated
from Palmer in October of 2002 and began associating
for a very prestigious Doctor in Shelby Township, Michigan
(a suberb of Detroit) for 1 year, where I learned what
it takes to run a high-volume office. I then began
practicing with a female chiropractor in Warren, Michigan
with 20 years experience in family wellness care, also
very high-volume (120 people/day). During this
time, I was coached by The Master's Circle consultant
group for 2 years, where I learned that success comes
FROM you, not TO you. My fiancé was offered a job opportunity
in Hermosillo, October of 2005. I moved there
2 weeks after him and have been here since. I
also do fill-in work for colleagues in Michigan for
weeks at a time. I am licensed to practice chiropractic
in Michigan, Ohio, and also have a working visa for
Mexico. Yours In Good Health, Dr. Amanda R. Smicklas
